All are welcome to enter. All mediums are welcome - knitting, weaving, wearable art, quilting, dolls, etc. All entries are eligible for the Grand Prize and Tess' Choice Award. The professional category includes shop owners, teachers (on a national level) and those who have designed professionally for magazines, yarn companies, sales, etc. Call if you are unsure in which category your entry should be entered. All designs must be made exclusively of Tess' yarns and/or silk fabrics. There are no design categories, any type of work is welcome-- we don't want to limit your creativity! Please send patterns and photos to address below by Nov 30, 2000. Patterns must be typed--presentation and accuracy are appreciated. Winning patterns will remain the property of designers with two qualifications - unrestricted and unlimited use/rights for Tess' Designer Yarns & no sale to or use by any other yarn company. Winning garments will need to be available for pictures and for trade and fashion shows (we'd like to show them off to everyone!). Cash & yarn awards will be 50/50. For example, the $500 Grand Prize will be $250 cash and $250 worth of Tess' yarns. Yarn value will be based on retail prices as of Nov 30, 2000. Winners will be notified by Dec 31, 2000. All prizes may not be awarded if enough qualified entries are not received.
